The Types Of People You Find In Every Office In Lagos

Every workplace is different because every company does different things. But whether you’re a fresh graduate or a veteran of the Lagos workplace, so to speak, there are certain dynamics that are present in every office in Lagos and that’s because regardless of differences in company culture, there are certain kinds of people you will definitely meet in every office in Lagos.

These are the types of people you meet in the typical office in Lagos.

  • The Stickler

This person did not come to play with you hoes. They are usually a no nonsense individual who believes that work and play do not mix. They carry out every instruction they are given to the letter and typically do not join in on office jokes and non-work related discussions.

  • The Party Animal

This one is always at every turn up that happens in Lagos state and always comes to regale you with his exploits the next morning. He parties on weekends and weekdays alike and is always trying to invite you to the next one.

  • The Family Member to the CEO

This person is either an actual product of nepotism or really seems like one. He always seems to know all the latest news about the happenings in the company and barely seems to do any actual work but he still remains employed.`

  • The Complainer

This person whines about any and everything; the tasks given to him to complete, his personal life, his colleagues, and bosses. He just always has something to complain about and is generally a downer.

  • The Quiet One

This person never joins in on office discussions, they just smile and look on. They probably have complete files of information on every single person in the office though.

  • The Gossip

This one just comes to work to mine for gist and broadcast it. He is always walking around with his ears wide open, and he tries to seem concerned or interested when he sees people talking in groups, but just wants to get the information and share it.
